$1500 gaming laptop computers mark the center point of the mid-range gamer laptop market. In general gaming laptops priced $1000 to $1999 can be considered mid-range with $850 to $1000 being low-end and gamer laptop computers over $2000 being high-end to extreme. With $1500 gaming laptops being right in the middle of the mid-range market I suggest the following minimum technical specs for gamer laptops at that price level: 2.0 GHz Intel dual-core processing, 3 GB system RAM, 320 GB hard drive capacity, 512 MB dedicated graphics card, and a 17 inch or larger display size. For extreme gamers I recommend a CPU speed of at least 2.4 GHz, 4 GB of system RAM, 400 GB hard drive capacity, and 1 GB of dedicated graphics memory. For extreme gaming laptops I also suggest going with a screen size of 17 inches or wider(laptops up to 20.1 inches in width are available).
